Sail Date: Aug 2021

I was originally booked on Scarlet Lady out of Miami twice.. sadly Covid meant those sailings were cancelled. Living close to Portsmouth, this sailing was easy for me. After the mess of the first sailing re covid testing, we did not have a long wait to get onboard as the process had been changed. We were in a sea terrace and the cabin size was fine for 2 of us. Fine on storage and even a drawer under the table no one else seemed to be able to find. Bathroom was on the small side. Not enough hangers but we just requested more. Loved the fact there were multiple usb sockets in the room. Water in jugs. No single use plastic anywhere. Also packs of masks if you wanted them. The app was a bit temperamental but free wifi a bonus.

The ship is decorated nicely, loads of chairs and seating of different types. I thought signage was missing however and we frequently got lost. Food was a massive plus and everything being included including the ice cream parlour. We ate in Pink Agave, Gunbae, Extra Virgin, the Wake and Razzle Dazzle. Amazing dishes, lovely atmosphere, great staff.

We went to the Duel Reality show, visited the thermal spa which was nice but no jacuzzi like pools or tubs which seemed strange. The fitness areas are huge. Plus around the ship swings and seesaws are fun! The day beds and little huts around the pool a nice touch.

Cabin Review

As above in main review. Beds were very comfortable. TV channels limited but loads of movies available. No map of where we were on tv. Remote control stuck under desk over fridge made it hard to find and needed it to turn on tv then could use the room tablet.
