Simply put virgin are putting some impressive and well designed ships into service but they might be holding themselves back with a standard statement of we do things differently. It’s great to break the old ways of cruising and the ships with inclusive all in dining is a good thing. However there are some issues with virgin being virgin: so don’t expect much sailing information or entertainment guidance once you’ve sailed . Most staff in a responsible position are anonymous either by their lack of presence or a uniform style that no one is familiar with or indicates look I am a officer or supervisor or senior entertainments staff can I help .

Overall the virgin doing cruising their way means your on your own now go work it out

The staff generally were pleasant but skilled and experienced in service delivery they are not. We had several very minor issues which had very complicated ways to achieve resolution. Staff seem unable to resolve the issue without moving it to someone else more senior, they seemed nervous to take responsibility and did not seem empowered. On a problem with a charge on the account the sailor services team couldn’t deal with it, as any refunds or account changes could only be resolved at the relevant restaurant. In this case,
