We had given our grandson a cruise (7 day/Carnival) for Christmas in 2019.....to be taken in August 2020. Because of Covid-19 cruise in 2020 was cancelled. Rebooked on Mardi Gras, 8/14/2021 out of Port Canaveral (Orlando). We have been on 17 previous Carnival Cruises......this was our Grandson's first cruise. The Mardi Gras was a great ship! Lived up to the publicity. All staff members on-board were very engaging and eager to please. Outstanding service. The only downside was the need to wear masks, almost all the time, even though my wife and I were fully vaccinated. Because my grandson was 11 he couldn't be vaccinated.

Things to be aware of:

1) Anyone under 12 (or unvaccinated) needs to provide a negative PCR test taken within 3 days of sailing. Anyone
