To see the upper Mississippi River, The scenery was wonderful, the ship and crew tremendous. We traveled through numerous canal locks which drew many families to witness our passing through. One stop even had a band to welcome the return of "steam ships" to the Upper Mississippi. Menu and food choices were good. Happy hour was special with good food and drinks. Entertainment was also good during happy hour and evening performances. Onshore tours were plentiful with a good variety of choices. The motor coaches were beautiful. Everything was great. Meet some nice passengers as well. All details were professionally attended to by the crew with special attention to our personal wants and needs. Language was not a problem as all members of the crew spoke English and appeared to be American. I would highly recommend American Cruise Line cruises because of their numerous destination throughout the United States and their level of service.
