We just returned from a 7 day cruise of the Greek isles on Norwegian Jade. Overall it was a excellent cruise.
The Covid protocols were relatively easy. You get tested for Covid before boarding (results in 20 minutes) and tested again the last evening of the cruise. The crew were excellent and very happy to be working again. They said this was only the second cruise since they re-started. The shore excursions were all excellent. The tour guides were very happy that cruises were re-starting. The Greek people were all nice and happy to see tourists back. The ship skipped Olympia due to a forest fire. We could see forest fires in Turkey (no stop just sailed close) and could smell smoke a few times. One of the tour guides said Greece has not had any rain since March so it is very dry. It's hot Greece in August. We expected that so it was not an issue for us.
My only complaint (a small one) is that the ship wifi was really slow. So slow it is basically useless. Overall, an excellent experience with Norwegian.
Excellent, the Club Suite is just like a balcony just larger.
Always wanted to visit Greece. When we were booking our cruise Greece was one of the first countries the re-open (post Covid). Operations at the port are efficient. The pre-cruise Covid test only took 20 minutes. The Taxi from downtown Athens was 20 Euros.
