We have returned from 4 night cruise on Regal Princess, and if these Covid restrictions continue the cruise industry is in real trouble. Despite all being double-jabbed (save some of crew), certified and tested, it was not an enjoyable experience. Mask wearing mandatory, though the announcements and signs were only changed after we complained about being repeatedly stopped for not wearing a mask (one sign still stating recommended on day on disembarkation - same language problem as government!).

Crosses on chairs and tables everywhere, bars blocked off, masks for shows and no drinks. Socialise and eat in your own bubble only.

We read all emails, adverts, and correctly completed the app, and there was no mention of these measures. We were shown a copy of contract, which we had not seen, amended 3 days before sailing. We were told it was in FAQ, but we didn’t have any questions! We are still receiving adverts by post and mail from cruise companies with no mention of these strict covid measures.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Very comfortable. Fewer toiletries, no pen and paper, not even bed protector for suitcases any more. Very helpful steward provided extra sheet to protect the bed.
