It's great to be back cruising, but for me MSC will probably be a one off.

Lets start off with the really great. Cruising is back! We are a couple nearing 50 and have now been on 85+ cruises on 11 different lines all over the world. Our main go to has been Celebrity, Royal and lately HAL and Oceania. We enjoy great food and wonderful service and this cruise ticket off just one of those boxes. More on that later.

We chose this cruise just for the only reason MSC at that time was the only cruise line sure to sail this summer. We had heard a lot of negative reviews about the overcrowding, lack of space and mediocre food, BUT also rave reviews how amazing YC club is so we booked a YC balcony with an open mind.

Embarkation was THE best embarkation ever. Our butler was greeting us getting out of the cab at the terminal I Civitavecchia and escorted us thru all the Covid hoops all the way to our suite. It was really impressive. All the crew members we interacted with was absolutely amazing. Five stars all the way.

Cabin Review

Yacht Club Deluxe Suite

Loved the darker colors and cozy feeling. Bed was very comfortable. The room feels spacious and we loved the Nespresso maker. Bathroom is small and lacked a tub but functional. Balcony is way too small and really was a disappointment. Room was kept immaculate and the butler service in room was great. I would love to stay in this time of room again, but probably not on MSC.
