New ship with about one third of the passengers, it was cruiser paradise. We had one of the new Infinity Veranda rooms and really liked it. It made the room feel larger without losing the open balcony feel. The ship in general is beautiful and we loved the layout. The person who came up with splitting the main dining room into four distinct restaurants deserves a big bonus, it really changed the feel of a normal large dining room one normally experiences on a cruise ship. More intimate, with varied food and themes. Love the look of the cabin hallways too. Felt like a hallway in a first-class hotel. We arrived in Greece 3 weeks before the cruise and i worried alot about getting to the proper cruise terminal with all the paperwork properly done. It was almost impossible to get information about where the Apex would dock, but I found it the morning of cruise on ship locator app. It was Terminal B, but not to worry, its easily figured out when you arrive at the port. We used the taxi app Beat for our ride to the port. It was easy with no hassle, and was very reasonable. I have a feeling it will always be Terminal B giving the setup they have there for Covid. As for the paperwork, one word of caution that quite a few missed and ended in a side line to get it filed out. Youll get an email from Celebrity about a week out telling you to register with EuroFins/TrustOne to register for your preboarding covid test. Its easy but dont forget to do it. When you do youll get a QR code that youll need when checking in at the port. I thik the problem is you get the email a week out but cannot register until a day or 2 before the cruise date, so you have to go back to it. It tooks us 1 hr from drop off until we walked on the boat and got to our room. Once on, get ready for a wonderful time.
