The food was poor to say the least. The airline chicken consisted of an unseasoned piece of meat with BBQ sauce poured on top. To make matters worse, it was raw in the middle. The short ribs were cold when they came to the table and heavily laced with fat and grizzle. The portobello mushroom sandwich consisted of two burnt pieces of toast and a mini mushroom in the middle. The baked potato was hard. The fresh cookies that were supposed to be served every afternoon at 3:00 PM, were so scarce that we were only able to get them once during the trip. The snacks that were available all day consisted of individual bags of chips from a big box store. So much for the advertised gourmet food!
The waiters in the dining room were untrained and completely overwhelmed with the work load. Getting more water or having dirty plates removed from the table was near to impossible.
The nightly entertainment consisted of a piano player playing old tunes - every evening.
Our balcony was flooded with water from a leaky hose that had come loose from a drain on an adjoining balcony. Even after my husband showed the staff what the problem was, no one fixed it for the entire duration of the trip.
Our television had a broken cord and did not work until the second day of the cruise when the cords were replaced.
