Sail Date: Jul 2021
Cabin: Sky Suite

After many, many scheduled cruises and cancellations, with NCL, I finally gave up and decided to sail Celebrity, a line I hadn't cruised in a decade. I found an S1 Sky Suite to suit my needs. I have sailed 25 cruises. This one is in the top 3!

Beautiful ship! Service was over the tops. Everyone was glad to see us, and sincerely greeted us wherever we were on the ship. They made it seem like there wasn't anything they wouldn't do to make certain we were happy.

This isn't a ship where you are looking for the rock climbing wall, or the putt-putt course, or a race car course, or number cars, etc.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite

Granted, I'm easily amused, but having my bed face the balcony and the water, waking up was a wonderful experience. Plus, my cabin (being a Sky Suite) had sliding mirrors in the bathroom that faced the balcony. I could slide open the mirrors and see the water while showering. Can't get better than that.

The mattress was a bit too firm for my tastes, though. The amenities from the soaps to the included Celebrity 'tote' bag was a very nice touch. The bathrobes were wonderful, too.

Plenty of room on the balcony or to sit at the desk.

One of the nicest cabins I've ever stayed in.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

The ports are not quite open...well, they're open, but not quite operational. Not much happening. Although, the beaches are still beautiful.
