This was my first time on the Edge, and I’m afraid I’m now spoiled and won’t want to cruise on any thing else! The ship is simply beautiful and the service was impeccable. Knowing that most of the passengers and all the staff was fully vaccinated put me at ease and I felt perfectly safe. The limited capacity was great. We never had to wait for anything and with more room to move around we were able to circulate and make new friends.

Of course nothing is completely perfect and some changes would be on my wish list: There are very limited shaded area in the Retreat pool/sun deck area so it was hard to stay there very long in the sun. They seem to have discontinued the live performances during dinner at Eden and that was disappointing. The premium wine tasting wasn’t worth the steep price tag and the drink package/ Mini bar upgrade was a waste. The shows were hit or miss. But the rest of the cruise experience more than made up for these small issues.

Overall the cruse far exceeded my expectations.
