Took wonderful trip with American Cruise Lines, aboard the America, for an 8 day cruise from New Orleans, LA to Vicksburg, MS, back to New Orleans, LA. had wanted to do a cruise on the Mississippi for well over 10 years so finally decided the time was right, following so long under Covid 19 quarantine. This was only the second cruise allowed by the US Coast Guard since restrictions were lifted, and it truly worth the money and the wait!

The boat was amazingly comfortable, with cabins far larger than most European vessels, beautifully appointed with every modern amenity imaginable, done in authentic steamboat period style. Every passenger and crew member was carefully screened and tested for Covid before the cruise, and daily housekeeping kept the rooms immaculate throughout the trip.

Amenities included 3 full service meals aboard daily with choices for every taste including special diets. Nightly cocktails including hoeur d'oeuvres, with live entertainment followed by a full dinner and special nightly entertainment with a full open bar... included with passage.

Cabin Review

Couldn't have been better... comfortable space, comfortable bed, super clean and very well appointed.
