My wife and I are regular cruisers on Royal Caribbean, so while I am not normally the type to write reviews, it would seem helpful to add insight to the relatively new experience of post-Covid cruising out of the Bahamas by writing about our July 2021 cruise. In that regard, this review will be primarily comparative to pre-Covid Cruising.

In summary, the experience is 90% still there and a great experience, and the lacking elements are made up for by other differences.

Before comparing these negatives and positives, I always found it helpful when reading reviews to understand the writer's background. For us, we are both 32 years old, we have no kids, and we sail primarily on Voyager and Freedom class ships for 6-9 night cruises. We typically enjoy watching the shows, doing excursions, the activities around the ship (such as Rock Climbing and FlowRider), playing board games that we bring, and eating appetizers/having a few drinks in the Diamond Lounge prior to dinner. We are Diamond status and typically book interior rooms during off-seasons due to price, focusing on cruises out of Florida due to availability of direct flights from Ohio.
