We wanted to participate in the first sailing, shame on us for assuming it would be special. We went in knowing there would be kinks but as a family we were treated like lepers. We all tested negative, the teens multiple times but still identified them with bands to make sure we were treated accordingly. Our dining team couldn't have spent any less time with us, so much money to be so disappointed.
They catered to and understanding this the travel agents and bloggers on board bragging about all their perks we had to pay for and sub par at best. The only staff that was consistent and kind was the stateroom person.
We believed this would be special, we supported this company the entire shut down and we were treated less than or as if we were just being tolerated. So confusing, so little joy or smiles, puss faces and drama when the teens wrist bands were observed, covering faces with shirts or napkins, if so scared why partake?
Found old socks in a drawer and no shower curtain on first night, quickly rectified. 2 bathrooms, two bedrooms. Huge balcony this room was perfect, it saved our trip. Clean and spacious, lots of storage. Small dining table inside and out nice outdoor recliner chairs.
Lots of shopping but super pushy, they were very happy we were there. I was stupid and purchased a 300.00 eye creme, when I got home I unwrapped an empty container, they saw me coming a mile away. Ugh, I should have checked but it was wrapped so beautifully.
Just terrible, this island is not ready yet. Much devastation. This should have offered a humanitarian excursion to help this suffering island.
Perfect! 2 days, empty Waterpark. No lines for anything. Clean and beautiful, great 2 days. Best part of the cruise.
