Cabin: The Haven Aft-facing Penthouse with Balcony

We love Alaska cruises and were fortunate that the Bliss' inaugural cruise to Alaska was during the same week as my wife's birthday. We chose and Aft Haven cabin because we love the extra balcony space those cabins offer. Our first experience with Adrian, our Consierge, set the pace for the cruise. With our introductory snacks in the Haven itself, he explained everything about the ship to us ... we offered a preliminary "tip" on the spot and he refused it, saying that should only be based on his service, after the conclusion of the cruise. Our aft corner cabin was wonderful. Our butler, Naveen, was the best we have had on any previous Norwegian cruise. Even to the point of oversleeping on the final morning. Naveen woke us up and took our luggage all the way forward to the Haven area and down to the point where we checked off of the ship. One night while dining at Cagney's, we sat while the photographer was taking our photo and were delighted to find Adrian had "photobombed" us with a funny grin.. It was priceless. The only aspect of the cruise I wouldn't do again was the go carts. We found that too many people didn't know how to drive and constantly bumped into us so we only did it once and cancelled a future cruise on the Encore because we felt the course took up so much space too many other features, such as the ropes course, etc., had been eliminated because of it. Overall, I'd give the ship, Adrian, Naveen and the entire crew an enthusiastic FIVE STARS!
