We chose this cruise for the exciting itinerary. The varied and plentiful ports of call made this a must-cruise for our party of 8. Our flight & embarkation were first class. Our cabin was spotless & our cabin boys made us feel welcome. The food & drink we got on board were very good. We were looked after by Khalek in the main restaurant & nothing was too much trouble. We found the bars at night to be well staffed with not much waiting time & shows varied and we'll put together. The trolley service during the day was very good. Our 3 ports of call we managed to get to were very interesting, with Cadiz being the stand out. We will return. It all started going wrong after that, through no fault of Captain Steve, who was professional & communitive at all times, or Marella. We missed 3 ports of call & had to go home a week early than booked due to the virus. Throughout the cruise we were treated in a proper & caring way by Marella & we enjoyed our week entirely. Howeve now we are home we have not been contacted in anyway by Marella or TUI. We understand that it is a hectic time for travel companies but would have expected some correspondence regarding our lost weeks money back & compensation for ports missed. We do not want to seem mercenary, but we paid up our money in the timescales required & would like to be treated equally. We will happily cruise with Marella in the future, but would like some information about refunds.
