My 5 star review is based on the entire experience. Obviously not everything was perfect. Nothing is. This was our 7th cruise, 6th on NCL.
The great - Brand new ship that is beautifully appointed. Art work was wonderful and the ship was spotless. New features include. More USB ports in room (no power strip needed) Bathroom had plenty of storage space. Interactive TVs throughout ship to book shows, restaurants, etc. (although you should really book your shows and specialty dining 90 days out on the website.) Immediately after boarding you should go to the designated area and finalize your bookings for things you are unable to book online, such as comedy shows and race track.
Service and staff - overall were outstanding.
Plenty of sinks and hand sanitizing areas
Food was very good in the MDR's - Was not impressed, as I usually am, With Cagneys. Onda was very good. Never had dinner at the buffet but the buffet was very good for lunch!
Minimal wait a few nights for the MDR at prime time. 10 minutes or less.
What we do on a cruise - Wake up relatively early - have a nice breakfast - Get a spot by the pool - Start drinking- Take a walk and explore - Have some lunch - drink some more - go back to room and nap and shower - have dinner - go to the shows - drink some more - hit the casino - take a walk.
We did try the race track and it was so much fun! Recommended.
Getting on and off was easy.
The observation lounge is beautiful - great place for a morning Mimosa
