Prime reason for picking this cruise Falkland Islands on my bucket list.
Ship has a wow factor with the addition of Arts Cafe and new style reception and boutiques.
Restaurant and La Terrazza comfortable dinning venues. La Dame seating layout not to our taste, Grill uncomfortable now cushions are not available for the chairs.
Food spoiled on many occasions by being cold mainly in the restaurant.
Filet mignon and Grilled fish always best options. Soups always good and hot. Breakfast in the restaurant excellent, perfectly cooked omelettes and eggs. Liver in La T always excellent. Best deserts the hot desert in LaT at lunch.
A suitable wine to our taste was always available.
Service excellent if you get the right restaurant and bar waiters otherwise mediocre. Waiter guidance key to enjoying good food.
Pool area, lacks shade leading to occasional lounger confrontations.Teak Deck oozed bitumen.
Grill served good fish tacos and crab cakes at lunch. Steaks at dinner, tiger shrimps getting smaller and the apple pies a disappointment.
Entertainment not a Silversea strength the same shows year after year. Although performers add to the social life.
Lack of enrichment lecturer.
Spacious nicely decorated suite, only drawback lack of shelf space around the desk. Kept spotlessly clean.Veranda deck needed a good clean and the rust attending to.
