For the ports visited that we wanted to go to and living in the midwest, Orlando was not too awfully far to go.

Our embarkation was the fastest and smoothest we have ever had in my 19 cruises. This is due to the workings of the Orlando port.

Our cabin was an inside which is what we always get.

Cabin Review

Interior

It was average. We always get an inside cabin as we are not usually in them except to sleep.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

It was average as we are not beach people

St. Thomas

St. Thomas does not change a lot. we have been on the tours before, so we shopped.

San Juan

San Juan is a hard city to get around if you are walking because it is very hilly

Grand Turk

We were very disappointed in Grand Turk. We were here before and took a bus tour for $20 each. It lasted a few hours and they picked us up and took us to a shopping area by the port. This time we took a taxi to the so called "downtown". This consists of three side by side rooms in a very old building or more like a hut. That is their whole downtown.
