Sail Date: Mar 2020

We recently cruised on the American Duchess during the March 9th sailing. The schedule had multiple changes from the ports we were originally scheduled to visit. Though we were disappointed about the changes, the staff were very professional and the shore excursions person on board worked very hard to make sure our land experience was still top notch. Tours were well organized, and we really enjoyed the Hop on Hop Off concept. Great idea! Having the same drivers meet us in each port was wonderful. We got to know them and really enjoyed the consistency. We also happened to be onboard when the news was escalating about COVID-19. They were well prepared and took all necessary precautions to ensure passengers were safe. It could easily be seen that this company goes above and beyond. They have the best interest of their guests at heart ensuring we were taken care whether it be at mealtime, show time, or just in their daily interactions. The Captain personally spoke to us and others on the bus as we departed the ship. What a nice touch! We were very impressed with the everyone’s efforts and look forward to our next voyage on the American Countess in the fall.

Cabin Review
