The ship is going to be refurbished soon, and a lot of the wooden surfaces need refinishing, and this is an older ship than others, but we had a wonderful cruise on Crown Princess. The crew was wonderful. The Cruise Director did just the right amount of talking/not talking. The Cruise Director's staff put on a wonderful game show called Hollywood Hiccups that was the funniest and best I've ever seen. Ocean Medallion made it easy to locate all of our friends and join them at any time for lots of fun. One of the two big generators had a problem, and we couldn't go fast enough to get to Princess Cays, so we skipped and got an onboard credit. That's our favorite port, and we were disappointed, but the rest of the cruise was wonderful. That generate should be fixed when the ship goes for refurbishment. They were sanitizing handrails, tables, etc. all the time. They sprayed pool loungers every night with sanitizer. We felt safe amidst the virus pandemic. The food was excellent, the entertainment was excellent, and we had a great time with our friends.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Amid the coronavirus outbreak in the USA, we were offered an upgrade from inside to balcony a week before the cruise. A lot of people had cancelled, and Princess offered it a a really low price. We accepted and it was great. It was a little creaky when going at full speed, but was fine. Cabin steward kept it clean, and we enjoyed the balcony. The size was the smaller on the ship. Some have bigger balconies but this had two chairs and a table and was fine. Everything worked flawlessly.
