We chose this cruise as we had never been to the Caribbean before and it was for my good lady's 50th Birthday, We have done a Med cruise with Celebrity but I have to say I much prefered P&O as a company and the Azura was a much nicer ship than the Celebrity Constelation we sailed on previously, we thought the cruise was good value for money and much cheaper than Celebrity would have been, There were some area's of the ship that were a little bit tired but as it is soon to go in for a refurb when we next sail on the Azura in 2022 I am sure it will feel like a new ship, we had no complaints at all with any part of the cruise, the buffet restaurants were really good and the main restaurants for your evening meals were wonderful, the food there was really good with plenty of choice, All the staff members from waiters, bar staff, cleaners, reception, and entertainmet were excellent, and please ignore the usual bad reviews, there will always be some people who you cannot please and it always amazes me how people find things to moan about, the pool area's were really clean. Shore excursions were really good we did some by going with local guide's and we had no issues with this, we did book some on the ship which is more expensive to do but you do get the satisfaction that you will always be back to the ship on time and have no worries about being left behind, that comes down to the individual and how confident you feel in booking something through a third party,I must also add the Captain Neil Turnbull was superb, we saw him on deck and around the ship on a regular basis and he was very approachable, he was also very funny and came out with some hilarious comments when he came over the tannoy with information and updates for the passengers made everyone feel very relaxed which is what a holiday is all about, Looking forward to 2022 and hopefully regaining some normality when this global coronavirus has hopefully passed, so to recap don't hesitate to book a P&O Cruise Its great.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

We chose an inside cabin as we like to be up early to enjoy the sun the ports of call and also we like to mix with people, so sitting on a balcony is not for us, the inside room was fine no issues and the fact we had no window was not an issue for us although i understand some people might not like the fact of no natural light, but also the money saved by not having a balcony we put to good use by doing more excursions and shopping,so it is a very individual thing as to what type of cabin you chose.
