Sail Date: Feb 2020

We chose this because of the itinerary and because it meshed with our flight. We had done Princess cruises in the past and pretty much knew what we were getting into. The good: Food in dining room had improved. Production shows much improved. The Bad: Food in buffet probably gave one of us food poisoning. It was one awful night. The "tendering" to ports without excursion was painful, slow crowded, just terrible, 2 1/2 hours.

Ugly: The pending virus...no one was ever checked but the coughs increased. The mini suite is the only way to go if you can afford it. The ship was supposedly renovated in 2019 but we were hard pressed to figure out where or how. It has a strange combination of decor. Service is very good in most cases. This was the last Princess cruise I will book. Generally we felt "nickel and dimed" throughout the cruise.
