I will start by saying that we had a wonderful time and will cruise again with Celebrity anytime. But there are always glitches with any vacation.

The check-in procedure was the worst ever because the computers went down and the lines went around the building.I know they did the best the could but they did nothing to help out those who were handicapped and that could not stand for the 45 min. plus we were on line.

The food quality, volume and selections were as excellent as usual and personalized service in the specialty restaurants was amazing. We absolutely loved Tuscan Grill and wished we booked that twice. Murano was also delightful. Our waiter (Isai) and Fredrick the assistant waiter were wonderful in the Main Dining Room for the 8:30 sitting. Breakfast in the main dining room- service was slow. Oceanview Cafe was definitely the place for breakfast. We tried room service twice once was great and the other was funny. They gave us someone else's order. Our favorite place was Cafe Al Bacio, every day, twice a day espresso, cappuccino and some lemon tartlets. Who cares cruise calories don’t count!

There was your typical production shows. We went and then walked out of Topper, it was just bizarre. The comedian was very funny. Some of the lounge acts were good and others were not our speed. I do wish that they had some jazz in one of the the bars.

The silent disco was a lot of fun and when it was held in the sky bar there was enough room to dance. But the bar there can't keep up with all the orders. The second silent disco was for Gatsby night and it was on the 3rd floor lobby area, way to small and you could hear the singing all the way up to deck 12. The third floor lobby area was used for dance lessons and music/dancing every night. It was crowded and too loud most of the time. We never understood why the sky bar was underutilized as was Quasars.

The Senior Officers were present on a quite few occasions and perfectly friendly.

Guest Relations where the ship sparkled. I had to go down to the desk a few time to inquire about their new drink package that included the min-bar, the took care of everything, It was our anniversary and I wanted a few flowers for a renewal service, I told them 3 roses. I received a beautiful grouping of flowers, plus in our cabin was champagne and a plate of cheese and fruit. Every department sent us cards to help celebrate our special day.

The Captain’s Club hostess (Amy) and the CC (Joanna) were both efficient and entertaining and kept us busy with all the parties and activities. I do wish that the two of them would coordinate times better for the activities, it was hard to juggle at times where we were going to be, some we had to miss all together.

Photo Gallery-excellent We were celebrating our 20th anniversary we decided to sit for a few black & white photos in the studio. These photos will be very special memories for us, especially since he made us look 20 years younger. LOL!

Debarkation went smoothly and ahead of schedule.

My only complaint was the constant selling of drinks packages, upgrading of packages or selling of specialty dining packages. It really puts a damper on the cruise.

Key West was lovely. We were independent and took the Conk train that is right off the pier. Also the Hemingway House is a short walk from one of the stops. Great History.

Costa Maya we booked an independent beach day with transportation and it was ok. The beach is rocky, bring your surf shoes! The walk off the pier will take 25min and you will be accosted by the salesmen.

Cozumel we booked an independent resort day at Iberostar Resort Cozumel. Beautiful resort. all inclusive, lunch, drinks, towels. $20 each way by cab.

Grand Cayman Took 2 different tours off the Equinox.

GCI1 - Dolphin Swim and 7 Mile Beach My husband loved it and would do it again.

GCR2 - Coral Beach Club on Famous 7 Mile Beach very nice club just not enough time

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Our cabin Concierge Class 1009 was very spacious just wish the draws were deeper. Thank goodness for the space above the beds! Plenty of hangers and the suitcases fit under the bed. Bathroom has plenty of storage space. The only problem with the room is not enough outlets especially if you need a cpap machine.

Our stateroom attendant (Sue) was excellent. Our room was immaculate and had ice every night. I needed a feather free room and Sue took care of that. The room is in the aft and it can get a little rocky.

Private Resort Day Pass

Iberostar Resort Cozumel is a beautiful resort. Everything is included with your pass except transportation. The buffet is quite extensive and there is a swim up bar. The drinks are excellent.

$20 each way by cab. It will take you 15-20 min to get to the resort but it is well worth it.
