Once again, Princess turned on an excellent cruise with unsurpassed service & food. We boarded in Sydney effortlessly - I walk with a cane so was given priority at check-in which was very thoughtful and appreciated. We had a balcony stateroom for this cruise around New Zealand and it was wonderful to view the exquisite scenery, particularly in Fiordland, from that balcony. All staff, without exception, were friendly and went out of their way to make this cruise as enjoyable as possible. We dined in the restaurant on all evenings, using 'anytime dining' and enjoyed beautiful food and fabulous table service. The longest time we had to wait for a table was less than 5 minutes. Our bed in the stateroom was very comfy and we had very little trouble sleeping. Movies, freely available, in our stateroom were a bonus with some of the latest movies available. MedallionClass was a bonus and enjoyed being able to order a coffee etc. from anywhere on the ship and have it delivered. The ship itself was well maintained with staff constantly cleaning (due in part to Corona Virus) and the strict insistence that all passengers kept their hands clean with hand sanitisers everywhere. We went ashore at all ports but didn't take up any excursions as we had been there before and spent most of our shore-visits catching up with family members. On two evenings we enjoyed live music and a comedian who had us all laughing out loud! Another fabulous Princess cruise..thank you.

Cabin Review

Balcony

I am not sure what cabin category we were but we had a mid-ships, 12th floor balcony which was exceptional. A large cabin, with full size television, king size bed, lovely hot shower and plenty of space for hanging clothes. The balcony was great, viewing our surroundings or just sitting back reading! The bed was comfy as were the pillows. A fridge was also available to keep water cold, and my wine of course.
