Cabin: Central Park View Balcony

We have cruised on Princess, Carnival and one other Royal Caribbean cruise. I chose this cruise and this ship because I wanted to try a mega ship for the experience and I chose a Central Park balcony because no other cruise line offers these types of staterooms.

Embarcation: Easiest embarcation of any cruise we've been on. We were on the ship in record time.

First impression: Wow! Did not feel like we were on a ship. You enter into Deck 5 which is the Promenade Deck and it was like we were in an upscale mall. The ship is so big but surprisingly easy to navigate because of the neighborhood concept which dispersed the large number of passengers into different areas. The only time it felt crowded was on the Promenade Deck, the pool areas and the adult solarium area on sea days and the elevators when shows were over. It was easy to find quiet spots to enjoy sitting and enjoying the view.

Central Park View Balcony

Location was perfect, mid ship with easy access to the aft elevators. Chose deck 10 so we would be well below the noise of the pool deck and 2 decks up from Central Park.

Central Park is beautiful at night and it was pleasant to sit on the balcony and listen to the guitar music and the crickets chirping.
