We booked this cruise at the last minute and we got a very good price. The ship was recently remodeled and over all they did a good job. The Windjammer and solarium restaurants were dirty the few times we used them with so many tables which were not cleared, and booths and chairs not wiped down. The food in the main dining room was good and service excellent. I was disappointed that the ice show was the same we saw 6 years ago. I thought it would be different. The theater has better sight lines and acoustics. However, if you sit in the first six rows or so bring a sweater or jacket as they have it pretty chilly and a lot of blowing due to keeping it cool for the performers. The comedy show was weak and it was in a bar they call Blaze. Blaze was one of the worse remodeled clubs. Terrible site lines. Over all it was a good cruise. The Oasis is a nice ship and the specialty restaurants were good.

Ocean View

Our room was in the front of the ship. I'm not sure if I picked the correct category. It was a port hole room. This room was large (could sleep four) but did not take advantage of the space. It had a slanted large window, but if the sun was shining you couldn't have the drapes open due to the room heating up. The bed was so close to the closet and the end of the bed very close to the desk. There was no furniture, not even chair which you could place in front of the window to actually see the view. So much wasted space. Much of the time we could only get very tepid water in shower and sink. Barely warm enough to shower comfortably. Somewhat noisy from ships operation. Quiet location from other guests, hallway very quiet.
