WHAT A LET DOWN

Tired old ship with worn out carpets and furniture in public areas. Cabins compact not boutique. They said bathrooms were small - too right they were about the same size as an aircraft toilet. You couldn’t bend down in the shower unless you stuck your rear end out of the shower curtain. { no glass cubicle too small )

Response from BonnieM, CBO - Azamara Club Cruises

I'm sorry you were disappointed in your Quest cruise, soars. ...

Cabin Review

Club Veranda Stateroom

Small small small. Bathroom tiny. You can’t swing a kitten let alone a cat

Tv services poor

Free films very old

Balcony small

Carpets worn

Clean and that’s about the best you can say but bed was comfy

Port Reviews

Cape Town

Cape Town is about the safest place in the tourist areas

There is a hop on hop off red bus much better value than ship excursions

Local tours and races are safe and about a third of the price of ship excursions

Lots to do and see in the area best part of the itinery

Port Elizabeth

Took the complimentary bus to a half closed shopping centre

Tours from ship wer3 exspensive andmostly safari tours

Ifyou are looking for safaris cruising is not the way to do it you need to do a land holiday

Port Elizabeth did not feel safe

Lots of homeless and r3fugees poor souls but cruise passengers seemed fair ‘ game

Constant warnings about not taking valuables ashore for fear of being relieved of them

South African economy is flar lining and poor poverty abounds and it is very apace this the local population are struggling

Life is cheap and so is yours !

Durban

Too exspensive ship tours

They do give you a complimentary bus to the aquarium and beach area which is Ok

Would be reluctant to go further would have liked to have gone to the local markets but the area was filled with homeless / refugees/ poor people begging/ soup kitchens / filth debris and rubbish

Don’t mind giving but felt unsafe and that’ locals were so desperate you weren’t safe

Such a shame

Colombo

Same as before

Not really save for tourists unless you are very savvy and experienced

Complimentary ships bus to yet another shopping centre.

Nice shopping centre but who wants to travel half way across the world to go to a modern shopping centre

Not us a,!
