We chose Meraviglia because it's a newer ship. We were not disappointed. We have been on 59 cruises and this is the most beautiful ship we have been on. It had wonderful production shows every night and a matinee performance of "Boheme". Each night as you walked around the ship, the music was everywhere, such a party atmosphere ! The food in the dining room was good, not great, but I did not leave hungry. The Buffet at breakfast and lunch had everything anyone could ask for. Crew was very friendly. They had wash basins directly outside the buffet to wash your hands without having to enter the public restrooms. They did not have toilet seat covers or facial tissue in their public restrooms. The casino was very good. I played slots and they had many new ones. The Meet & Greet that was put on for Cruise Critic was the best of any ship where I attended one. They offered Champagne and Punch, very nice appetizers, including Chocolate Covered Strawberries! The biggest disappointments were the cancellation of the Marine Reserve port because of rough weather and a day and a half without hot water due to an issue with the hot water system ship wide. We were reimbursed somewhat for the missed port and the hot water issue, without cruisers having to ask, much to MSC's credit. Embarkation was very slow but debarkation was super easy.

Cabin Review

Bella Balcony Stateroom

Very nice, clean and well maintained cabin. Comfortable for two but we were three and closet too small and not enough storage for three.
