Warm weather cruise in both the Pacific and Atlantic. Staff was ...as usual, outstanding. The ship was set to be refurbished at the end of this cruise. It needed it. Really could have been discounted because of the needed repairs. Carnival has really fallen off in quality since we started with them nearly 35 years ago. Food quality and entertainment need upgraded. It would have been good to have had an expert on board or a movie prior to going through the canal to tell the story of the canal. The company needs to cater more to the group on the ship...only say two families with children as most folks were at least 55. Having the comedy start at 11 was past many bed times. Hate the game show entertainment...cheap. Wish the frequent cruiser program crossed with the sister company lines. Making everyone wait for the emergency drill at the start of the cruise while trying to roundup a few is wrong. Freeze their cruise card and then they have to attend later or assess a fee. Do not like the excursions for shopping when the only places allowed to shop are specific and no time to shop on your own. Love to have more big screen movies and in room movies. Get Fox News and ESPN in the rooms.
Balcony cabin. Again, refurbishing was needed. Plenty of storage. Refrigerator could have been colder. Speaking of colder, we twice contacted guest services as our air conditioning was woefully inadequate.
