Sail Date: May 2010

We have been on over 25 cruise ships, all types of itinerary, all levels of cabin locations. We have been loyal Princess passengers for the past twenty years, but after the line was purchased by Carnival we have noticed a continued downward spiral of service and quality of food.

This is our second Celebrity cruise in 2010. Spending 5 nights on the Century in January enticed us to book another and join friends who decided on this May 23rd cruise.

Friends had booked Concierge Class on deck 10. When we contacted our agency, Celebrity (or the agency) was upgrading to Aqua Class without additional charge. Cabin 1503, Penthouse deck, was one of the few cabins available and the location will be discussed later.

Cabin Review

Cabin 1503 is under the gym area. During the night, we were awoken by banging. Maybe weights were being dropped? One morning after I completed a workout, I heard awful noise behind me. It proved to be over our cabin and a Celebrity trainer was opening huge machines and dropping them on the floor. More consideration is needed by the employees.
