We prefer to cruise from Galveston and have previously cruised on the Liberty.
Embarkation was a breeze. Both Hubby and I used our own Scooters and had no problem getting on the ship. Since we timed our arrival to port for after 1 PM the Stateroom was ready and we were able to drop our carryon luggage off before going to lunch.
The stateroom was clean and roomy. The beds comfortable.
The Food in the Windjammer was tasty and for the most part the temperature was good.
We were unable to secure either Main (6 p.m) or Late (8 P.M.) Dining and were forced to take My Time Dining. I had made reservations online prior to getting on Board.
It was a ROYAL DISASTER! Our reservations were for 5:15 P.M. and we were finally seated at 6 P.M. In the far back of the Restaurant, which was troublesome, since we both use Scooters!
The Food and Service in the Rembrandt Dining Room were excellent.
The evening Shows were very good.
Since we had been to all the ports previously we did not take any excursions and spent Port Days on the Ship.
Debarkation was another fiasco. It took us 45 minutes to be able to get on an elevator with our scooters to go to the deck we needed to be for getting off the ship. It was so bad, that we decided against going to the Windjammer for Breakfast, since we would have had to brave the Elevators again!
This is an accessible Cabin. It was roomy enough to fit both of our Scooters in and still have room to move about.
Out Stateroom Attendant kept it clean and fresh.
