This was a 20th Anniversary Cruise and our first time and we really enjoyed it. We saw a lot of wildlife from the ship, and loved the glacier viewing. Our Mini-Suite was wonderful, and Princess remembered our occasion, and included many thoughtful touches for us. We were glad we had the free Sip & Sail "beverage package" and used it often, enjoyed the food as well, we had "anytime dining, but usually always went at 5pm when they opened and got a two top. We had a great time and would do it again!! We had two specialty dinners free - did not care for the Bayou Cafe much, but loved Sabatini's! We did not go to any of the shows, but enjoyed immensely all the presentations given by the park rangers and the ship's naturalist in the Princess Theater. Room steward was excellent. We generally had very smooth sailing, except for the second "formal night" which we opted out of, we were up in the buffet hanging on and watching things slide around! LOVED it, and do not know why people knock this ship so much - we felt she was great!
We really enjoyed our first time on Princess and our Mini-suite - the room was great - found no issues - bed was fine, plenty of closet space. Large balcony (uncovered)
No issues with embarkation -
Bus tour to Glacier & salmon Hatchery - it was a full day...
Another Highlight! The Park Rangers came on board & narrated the whole time we were there and the captain rotated the ship so everyone could see the Glaciers! it was AMAZING to just spend the day watching the ice calve and be still
Disembarkion - it was slow & then a long bus trip through a long tunnel to ANC airport where you tried to find your bags & then waited for your plane..
