We were 1st time cruisers and chose this one because of the short length incase we didnt like it. We left 3 hours late from the port because the crew was still loading supplies. Then as we shoved off the was a medical emergency and had to go back. Then the boat couldn't get up to cruising speed and we were in rough waters. You felt every wave as we were only going 10-11 knots, we were told mechanical issues. The next day in the afternoon we were told we wouldn't be able to make Amber Cove so we would cruise to Grand Turk. The boat was barely moving, we were given 50 on board credit, which really means here is 50 bucks to spend on overpriced drinks or in the Casino. Either way you are spending it on the ship or you dont get it. We made it to Grand Turk and had a fabulous day. Its breathtaking there. The food isn't that great, unless you have a burger at Guys. The formal dinner was ok. The boat itself.is very old. A lot of rust on exterior. The interior needs a major update. Elevators were often not working or out of service. Staff was friendly. Overall is was disappointing for 1st time cruising. All my friends that go on a cruise tell me that we shouldn't give up cruising, just dont use carnival.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Old looking. Balcony was rusty, chipping paint. Room was clean just needed a face lift.
