This is brief critique of our experience on the Edge. Others have accurately described some of the pros and cons in great detail. For us, who have been on 50+ cruises on a variety of cruise lines, we generally cruise with a open mind. We found the food and service to be as excellent as Celebrity’s reputation has always been. We found a lovely crew who bent over backwards to make us happy and found no bad actors or attitudes. Refreshing.

That being said, I had a love/hate relationship with the ship itself. As an art lover, the paintings, sculptures and photography were top notch, with the exception of the bizarre entrance into the Eden section of the ship. Think Dante’s inferno! What a waste of much needed passenger space. The ship decor is very high style and definitely different but attractive for the most part.

As others have said, the flow is strange. My disabled husband rented a scooter and we found ourselves in dead end areas often. The bow of the ship is restricted to us in “steerage”. In reality we had a Concierge cabin. More about that later. The Infinite Veranda is a joke. If you love a hot humid cabin by all means use it. The AC shuts down the minute you raise the window.

Deck 11 was a great location.
