We learned about Viking Cruises from our friends who had taken two Viking River Cruises and had signed up for the Viking British Isles ocean cruise and asked us to go with them. The Viking Sun was a beautiful ship with a comfortable amount of passengers booked, not crowded like other cruise lines. Other things we liked over other cruise lines were no camera photographers, no children, no pressured package deals, and no casinos. The cabin was comfortable with a nice-sized beautiful bathroom and adequate-size shower. It would have been better to have had more closet space. The room attendant was very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. The breakfast head chef could not have been any more helpful in assisting me with my tray and food selection!! He was an outstanding employee, our favorite on the cruise. Hope we are fortunate to see him again on another Viking cruise! The live entertainment was excellent, but movie night was disappointing. We liked the complimentary excursion at each port. Most tour guides were very good; however one older gentleman could not have been any worse- couldn’t hear him in the bus and left without all of the group at one stop. He was an exception, we had many good ones and booked a river cruise with you again for this year.
