I choose this cruise because I wanted to bring my four grown sons to Jost Van Dyke an Excursion offered while in Tortola on 2/20. The excursion got sold out & the time being there was changed from 8:00 to 5:00 pm to 6:00am to 2:00pm. & was not notified. I called the cruise line To ask about being added for this excursion and was told I could put my name on a waitlist once onboard the ship. When I got onboard I went to guest services and was told there were 17 people on the waitlist ahead of us & it was very unlikely we would get to go.

The reason they changed the itinerary was so that the ship could stop at their private island GREAT STIRRUP CAY in the Bahamas instead of a day at sea. Well on the day of that stop we were told it was too windy and not safe to go there due to tendering. So for a 7 day cruise we only had 1 full day in St. Thomas. So being on the ship 75% of the time...the place to hang was at the pool...if you did not get up by 8:00 am or earlier & get a seat by the pool you were outta luck. The big screen at the pool had a sign up for the entire 7 days....you can’t save chairs...if you were not present for 15 minutes they would take your belongings off your chair. So if you wanted to go eat ...you lost your chairs. It was a nightmare to say the least! Any place more civil on the ship to hang outside was an extra charge and that was sold out too! On the first nites dinner....asked for a glass of Pinot Grigio and was told at the Onda at Scarpetta restaurant that they did not have any...only to walk out of restaurant after dinner and pass wine cellar....attached to the restaurant to see 10 bottles of Pinot Grigio on the shelf! This was my second Norwegian Cruise and I would not cruise them again! Back to Royal Caribbean❤️
