We chose this cruise because it was 70's Rock and Romance with lots of our favorite performers & tribute bands. So much great music & something to do from 10 am - 2 am. We didn't really care about ports (Puerta Rico, Haiti & Labadee) so didn't take any excursions. We did get out & walk around in San Juan & Labadee.

Now to the ship: Cabin was the Conceirge (8095) with sufficient space but smaller than we are used to as normally book Suites on Princess & Holland America. Small deck with 2 chairs & table but again sufficient as we spent hardly any time in the cabin or deck with all the activities. We rebooked for the 2021 R & R in same cabin as good location on ship and a Nov refurbishment will hopefully update the furniture which is very tired. Our cabin steward, Adelio Fernandes was excellent & kept our place spotless.

Food was just okay in buffet, Trellis & Tuscan Grill. Would have liked a few more "normal" type food in Trellis such as meatloaf, turkey (did have final night),,,,,,they try to make everything so fancy. My husband is a picky eater so he mainly had to settle for their grilled chicken every night. I eat most things but a lot of sauces or sides were not something I like. The Tuscan Grill was a step up but the $45 per person was a bit steep. The food was plentiful & the service was good. We had planned on drinking a lot of ice tea as we do at home but they had the absolute WORST ever tasted. We tried again everyday & never got better so had to buy soda or use the bottled water we took with us. How can you not make decent ice tea. Actually even the fruit punch, orange juice, etc were just as bad in the buffet. No ice in 2 of 3 machines in buffet from day one, no coffee in 1 pot at 9 am one day and the staff were were very unfriendly. The omelet station was the one bright spot on breakfast buffet so we had one every morning.
