The ship was absolutely beautiful. The elevator system was exceptionally efficient. For us this cruise was not a good value. We feel we overpaid for what we experienced. The Buffett was always nightmarishly overcrowded. The food quality was excellent though. The Loggia restaurant was very good. Our waiter and his assistant were very professional and caring. The cruise did not show enough emphasis the importance of illness prevention (hand washing, etc.) The shows we attended were excellent. Coming out of the theater after a show was nearly impossible. Once we made it out very slowly, we were met by a cruise activity just outside that created an unpleasant traffic jam. The staff around the public areas (buffet, etc.) seemed overworked and unhappy, attitude reflects leadership. Our stateroom attendant was very friendly and kept our room in excellent condition. We are very disappointed with MSC and do not plan on cruising with them again. We are experienced cruisers (Celebrity, NCL, Royal Caribbean), so we much rather go with any of them.
