We were on the Regal Princess from 1/26/20 - 2/16/20. The weather was wonderful all three weeks, only a bit of rain on each of the Saturday sea days en route to Fort Lauderdale.

The highlight of the three weeks, had to be beating the Guinness Book of World Records for the most Wedding Vow Renewals at one time. Princess Cruises did a phenomenal job of organizing the event. Each couple received a corsage and boutonniere for the occasion.

Gavin Macleod and Jill Whelan were both lovely and down to earth. I met Gavin Macleod in the elevator on his way to a photo shoot. He was so friendly and approachable. I took a photo of the two of us and he gave me a hug and kiss as we left the elevator. It is a wonderful memory.

Balcony

We like to be on Emerald Deck - midship. Low and midship always seem to be the most stable place on the ship in case of some rough weather. Also we can use the stairs to get to decks 5,6,7 by the Piazza. This time we had an unobstructed balcony on Emerald deck even though it was listed as obstructed and we enjoyed sitting out in the early evening.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We didn't get off the ship. We have been there many times before. There are too many ships at this port at the same time. The beaches are too crowded and the streets for shopping are also so crowded you are forced to walk in the road
