We are a couple in our early 50's cruising for our fifth time and third different cruise line.Let me start by saying this is a beautiful ship and the staff is great.I have read so many of these reviews I had to finally get my 2 cents in.

My wife and I used to like cruising to economically visit several places in one trip, but on this cruise we got off to a bad start by not docking at Coco Cay because of weather.THIS GAVE US 4 DAYS ON THE SHIP AND 2 DAYS AT PORT. 4 days being stuck on a boat just drove us crazy! You can only gamble and eat so much. Royal had the audacity to give us a lousy $18.45 credit for not stopping at Coco Cay!We are not interested in bingo or shopping seminars and the pools are always so crowded you don't even want to go.

Now let's get to the food and entertainment. I can't believe how many people rave about the entertainment. High school musical level at best for the shows. I guess the white trash yahoos on the ship (there are plenty of them) liked it but we grew up in NY and have been to Broadway plays and are spoiled. The food on cruises is going downhill fast. It was ok and we never went hungry, but again I don't know where some of these reviewers are eating (I guess at Golden Corral)
