  3. MSC Armonia
This was my 3rd cruise experience (previously cruised with Princess & Carnival- exceptional experiences with both). Incredibly disappointed with MSC with a few positives, which is unusual as I am a very easy going person, especially on vacation! We did all our own shore excursions as many were cheaper and provided better amenities. PROs: Entertainment staff is amazing- hilarious and fun to be around. Cabin steward was very friendly. Dining waiter nice, but very quiet. Dance performances fun and entertaining. Excellent Captain and ship's bridge workers. CONs: Poor cabin condition. Rude pool staff. Extremely slow and unprofessional bar service at ship deck bars. Unusually shortened times at a couple ports of call. Hot tubs were actually COLD, really cold and full of children when no one under 16 is supposed to be allowed. Only 2 hot tubs and one small pool on entire ship. Food was just ok- seafood not fresh, limited flavor to most food and people consider me NOT a picky eater. Very limited nightly entertainment as there is no variety- only dancing/singing. Cruise director is quite strange, feelings all MSC wants is more money and more money from your pockets. No recognition or kind gestures for special occasions unless you buy it for yourself (different from other ship companies). Ship is small to begin with then they decided to re-stain 1/4 of pool floors which took up a lot of pool deck space and one out of two pool bars down- pool uncomfortably crowded and limited bar service, even for water or soda. In summary, I would definitely NOT recommend this cruise ship. Definitely NOT worth your money when you can pay the same price for a much better experience elsewhere.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom – Fantastica
Cabin B2
Spacious. Brown stains on comforter. Large holes in bed skirt. Multiple large stains on carpet. Definitely recommend a balcony for any tropical cruise as open ship decks can be quite crowded.
