We chose this ship due to the itinerary and the great package deal. We had some ups and downs.

Pros - Embarkation was just fine little bit of a line which we have always experienced with no matter what cruise line. Drinks are not watered down at all actually very tasty and the drink package is well worth it especially if it comes with your room. Staff was excellent we did not experience any rudeness with staff as some people mention everyone was very nice. The entertainment was good throughout the ship, must see the dueling piano's, and if Orlando the comedian is on the ship he is really funny. The Choir of Men was a great Acapella group. The Speciality dining was very good as well as the main dining rooms the Buffet was adequate. We chose to carry our own luggage off the ship and last day Disembarkation was a piece of cake. Costa Maya highly recommend Coral Go Experience which is electric bikes to rent not from ship did through trip advisor was a huge thumbs up and way to experience downtown Mahahual. Now moving on to the

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

The cabin was alway's clean and we were pleasantly surprised at how large they were we were in a Balcony room mid-ship. I did notice that the room seems to have more room with the bed being closest to the closet versus by the balcony doors. As far as people saying that the closets are hard to get into we did not find that at all plenty of room, also store your luggage not under the bed was super easy to get out of the way there is storage over in the cabinets, the bathroom was the largest I have seen on a ship and plenty of storage for your items in there as well.
