I chose the cruise because I was told that it would be an unforgettable experience which was mostly true except for the fact that I was unable to enjoy some of the entertainment for lack of proper hearing aid assistive devices.
The ship and cabins were meticulously clean and very well maintained. The TV in the cabin could be better.
There was a variety of food but it could have included some spicy stuff or at least some spicy pickle for the palate that loves some spice. The dinning experience was great we were treated like royalty.
All the waiting staff were great but some of the sales staff in EFFY were a bit snobbish. Generally the service was very good.
The shore excursion were very well organised and is value for money.
It would be great if the ships are equipped with modern hearing assistive devices that transmit the sound directly to the hearing aids from the audio outputs both in the the theatres and other venues. The devices offered were ear phones which were of no use as they cannot be worn with hearing aids.
The cabins were maintained twice a day and it was spic and span. The TV in the room did not work too well as I could not get captions for half of the programs and being hearing impaired it meant a lot to me.
but not much time to explore
The guides were excellent. They have lapses in knowledge could not explain the main painting in the hall.
Guided tour was a bit hurried.
