The Crown must lie heavy on the brow of Carnival Corporation. She really needs an overhaul. A generator malfunctioned so the ship could not make speed. Ports were dropped and stays were shortened. Too slow. We did receive some onboard credit.

The majority of people we spoke to said the mattresses were like hammocks. Too soft. The coffee in the buffet was so thick and syrupy that a remedy of half coffee and half hot water was used. Too thick. The ship seemed uncomfortably cool in cabins and public areas. Too cold. The cruise director was taking a break from the ship and he did a fantastic job! Too bad.

On a brighter note, the ship participated in setting a Guiness World Record for the most wedding renewals by three ships at sea. The Captain and staff did a remarkable job of making this such a memorable moment for over 1400 people. The Crown provided flowers, special food treats, shopping discounts, specialty drinks, and free dinners in the pay as you go dining rooms. Special certificates were provided to help remember the occasion. This was so well done that I have great expectations things will improve.

Cabin Review

Interior

Typical interior room. Could use more electric outlets. Quiet location near lifts. Captain quartered on in this area.
