Previous river cruises with Viking was the main incentive to try and ocean cruise. The accommodation and cabin facilities were very good including services of our steward in the cabin. She was very attentive to our requirements and kept the cabin well appointed throughout. The food on bard was very good including the specialty dining. Enjoyed use of the spa and facilities. Entertainment shows were very good and well worth attending. Not overely impressed with some of the shore excursions particularly when I felt that they were just occupying time without too much purpose. Overall the cruise was very good value. Travel to and from uk was okay but would prefer a single flight to arrive at the ship. Less hassle involved with transfers. We enjoyed the space on board Viking Star and the layout appeared very good. Would have appreciated better evening snacks to eat made available. Staff were very friendly and tried to assist with our requirements.

Cabin Review

Very good cabin with balcony. Steward looked after us well and efficiently with very good attention. Did not like the coffee machine - would prefer hot water kettle for tea ( UK ). Beds and accommodation was very impressed.
