We always cruise with Princess, and each time a new ship comes out, we like to give it a try. The Sky princess is beautiful - we particularly like the more elegant, upgraded furniture, especially in the area just outside the Crown Grill. It was a good idea to take the wall down by Princess Live - much more open and a good area to sit when there are no activities there. The new configuration of the main pool area is a nice change as well, the new Sanctuary and Retreat Pool are very nice, the theatre productions were excellent, as usual! Alfredos is fantastic! However, the reason for the "3" rating is that there were several things that really bothered us, and if this is the way Princess is moving with their ships going forward, after almost 40 cruises, we will begin to look at a different cruise line. Here are the things that we really don't like:

- the Piazza is no longer a place to relax, whether it be in the morning/afternoon for coffee/tea or in the evening for wine pre/post dinner. It is very loud - music, line dancing, all kinds of silly activities, and now in the evening, this seems to be the place to dance. Everyone anywhere near the Piazza is forced to put up with this. Please move these kinds of activities back to Vista, Take 5, or some other area where those who like these things can enjoy them without impacting everyone else on the ship

-Take 5 is a very nice spot but only if you like Jazz - I don't mind Jazz some of the time, but not every night. We are used to Skywalkers and Club 6 on the other ships where there is much more music variety.
