I chose this cruise for its itinerary, many nice good ports. Food is pretty good, most of the people are nice. This is a pretty large ship but it’s like being in a marathon wherever you go. I like cruising for the nighttime options, you can usually walk around to different bars and shows throughout the evening and find what you like, not here, everything is packed, nowhere to sit or watch a show unless it's on deck at night or maybe get lucky once in a while, mostly standing room only, if that. Over 4000 people on our boat, you need reservations for everything except the main dining room if you get there before 6pm, food is really good. Specialty restaurants and main shows are mostly sold out before the cruise starts. You’re not allowed to bring water on board but can buy a case for $53 plus 20% tip. Well drinks average $11-$13 each. Internet is really expensive compared to other lines, crazy! There is a 20% tip added to everything on board and a $15 daily service fee per person, the highest of the major lines that I have seen. Deck space and chairs are near impossible to find if you don’t get outside early. Our cruise had a Latin theme with Latin music and Latin subtitles on the movies even though the passengers were 95% Caucasian from Canada. You can bring wine onboard the first day but are charged a $15 corkage fee even if it’s consumed in your cabin. Today was the last straw when I returned back to the ship with my sealed $$$water bottle that I bought from the ship and wasn’t allowed to bring back on. I will never cruise on Norwegian again, absolutely worst value of any of the 15 ships I’ve sailed, I can’t state enough how how disappointed I am in this vacation!.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Nice enough cabin but the bathroom is a joke, absolutely no privacy both a glass booth on each side of the door As you enter, sink next to the bed, maybe 8” away.

Port Reviews

San Juan

Old town is a lot of fun if you get away from the crowds into the smaller shops and bars. The forts are really interesting.
