I'll start with the good. We loved the food (I seriously don't know how they had the variety for that many people-truly amazing and something for everyone), entertainment, the very small size of the ship, our HUGE balcony (only 4 on the ship this size from what I could tell), our room attendant was beyond amazing, our room was well laid out and we had a ton of storage, it felt like a small apartment (especially with the balcony) which we enjoyed just spending time alone. We also liked that it did NOT have a lot of kids activities (again small ship) so there were not too many children although there were some. We also really enjoyed getting to know other passengers and bumped into the same people quite frequently which was nice.
The bad- We paid over 4500k just for our room (2 people), another 2500k on airfare and bookend hotels $700, car rental, ubers, excursions etc and spending cash which totaled about a 10k vacation.
We did not get what we paid for and the ships description of amenities is absolutely false. My guess there are so few owners suites while the majority of ship booked the "cheap" rooms, everyone is treated like they booked the lesser rooms. Priorty seating for shows - NOPE, it was a free for all, priority embarkation/disembarkation - NOPE again, told to go to the back of the line, breakfast on last day - Not unless you get up at 5am, NOPE again, Concierge lounge with appetizers and adult beverages - DOES NOT EXIST, stocked mini bar - NOPE only if you pay for it. I get nickel and diming the cheap rooms but when you pay 4500k for the promise of certain service, you should get those services and this just was not the case and there is no excuse for it.
it was hot and bathrooms were too far away, no privilege seating and the water smelled like sewage and was slimy and goopy, no fish to see either.
San Juan was nice just to walk around
Buck Island was awesome
Rented a car and beach hopped, it was great fun
