My husband and I chose this cruise because we really wanted to go on the Edge, having heard such wonderful reviews of the ship. Not only is it "cutting edge" but beautiful, modern, sleek, with great technology. We didn't really care about the itinerary as we have been to so many islands in the Caribbean, we really don't get off the ship anymore. But we loved just being on the Edge. It has a very calming feel to it, even though there were activities going most of the time. We weren't bombarded with never ending lectures, sale a thons, bingos, card games etc. This is a more sophisticated ship. But, one of the highlights was Captain Kate McCue, an amazing young female Captain who welcomed each and every guest like friends, was very approachable and out and visible daily. She was even there at debarkation thanking guests and bidding them safe travels. The only negative was the internet....extremely expensive and very, very slow.

This is our new favorite ship and we booked another cruise while on board. Can't wait to go again!
